The obverse shows a historical gate located in the Fortress wall of Seoul which surrounded the city. 6 gates still survive out of 8, All eight gates were originally built between 1396 and 1398.
Reverse features the Jusangjeolli Cliff, which is designated as a natural monument of Jeju Island, which is the largest columnar-jointed lava in South Korea.
